Who Are We?

As Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the father of the Turks, said, ‘History is a memory, the memory of societies.’ Therefore, history can never be ignored and every individual should have knowledge about the history of his/her society and the history of the world.  Unfortunately, young people find history lessons boring and the historical literacy of adults is very low.

In Scandinavian mythology, it is believed that the goddess Friggin knew the future but did not tell anyone. As a few friends who love history, we believe that the future is hidden in history and that is why we call our group Friggya.

As Friggya, our vision is to make history education interesting and increase historical literacy. For this, we established Anatolia by using what the digital age offers us. Anatolia means rise, birth, departure. Anatoliahist is our website consisting of storytelling blog posts and podcasts away from dense and hard-to-remember information.

Our mission is to produce interesting historical content that will arouse curiosity in people, can be completed in a short time, and keep people in front of the screen.

In this way, people will be able to utilize distraction-free content without getting tired, even when they are busy with other things, and they will save time while turning to new history topics. In this way, no one will fall asleep while studying history and people will enjoy studying and reading history thanks to Anatolia.

As a result, we will facilitate history learning and increase historical literacy by appealing to people of all ages.
